Forum and Site-Wide Rules

1. This forum is open to ages 18+ only:
While this forum is open to be read by the public, users must be legal adults to join and contribute. This means you are 18+. If it is discovered that a user is not 18+, this may lead to refusal of application or the deactivation of an account. This is more strictly enforced than our chatroom.

2. The following rules apply to the chatroom:
While age is not strictly enforced on the chatroom, the chatroom is moderated and all of the following rules listed in the page are enforced.

3. Respect others:
Show proper respect to everyone. No harassment, threats, doxxing, racism, sexism, rage baiting, belittling or general negativity directed at a group or individual.

4. Toxicity is not allowed:
Toxic behavior that creates a messy or uninviting environment is not allowed. This includes individuals exhibiting elitism, disrespect towards others, rudeness, pettiness, spamming, rule breaking, stoking conflict, or manipulative or attention-seeking behavior. Admins and mods reserve the right to freely remove messages and deactivate accounts from toxic personalities per their discretion.

5. Keep it safe for work and school:
While we are an 18+ forum, this space is meant to be SFW and tolerable for anyone who happens to read through this forum. We have a clear focus on the type of content we would like to discuss here, and none of it necessitates involving the following material:

No discussion of sexuality, including references or links to any media describing, depicting, or referencing such material.

No discussion or links to gore, extreme violence, torture, anything considered vulgar or inappropriate that would lead someone to wish they could bleach their eyes.

If you are unsure if a website you're sharing would be deemed tolerable, provide content warnings.

6. Substance abuse & mental health.

No discussion surrounding serious mental health issues or private struggles is permitted. We are not properly trained or equipped to assist those in need of serious help, and such issues should not be discussed publicly here, for the safety of the individual and other members. There is no shame in seeking help, but these are very serious matters that are better dealt with professional counsel and not on a web forum.

Similarly, discussion surrounding substance abuse and addiction, including the glorification or normalization of highly addictive substances or substances widely known to cause serious health complications, is not allowed here. This includes not just illegal substances, but any habit forming substance with the potential for abuse.

7. Acknowledgement of the rules.

Ignorance of the rules is not an excuse. You must acknowledge the rules to participate here, and agreeing to these terms communicates with us that you have read these rules. These rules are here to keep all viewers and participants safe, and to guide helpful and interesting discourse. Rules are also subject to change as the forum grows. "I didn't read the rules" as a response to why you broke a rule is grounds for a ban.
