Hi! I'm CyberVixen/Kat! I'm a disabled Navy vet that lives with her three cats, one dog, and platonic life partner. I pretty much either play games, cook food, sew or play my violin to pass the time. Lurker of the indie web for a hot minute now, decided to finally pull the pin on getting my own set up and actually getting involved in the community surrounding it. Grew up in the 90s and fondly remember the dotcom boom and geocities and all that goodness.I miss the days of having to murder a robot just to access the internet.
Oh. I read books, too. Warformed by Bryce O'Connor is a recent delight of mine. Brandon Sanderson is my favorite author. Current rereading the Stormlight Archive for funsies, and for seriousies I'm reading A Social History of the World's Most Versatile Instrument: The Violin. Yes, that's the full, pretentious title.

The violin, huh? It's one of my favorite instruments. It really does produce a beautiful sound. As much as I love classical music, the music people are coming up with today for the violin also sounds amazing.
