As Im sure many of us have realized, the onio.club chatroom has shut down, and while many of us may be disappointed, we should also respect Onio's decision to do what he has done.

Many of us had countless great memories of the chatroom, the late night talks, the funny conversations, the intellectual conversations, and the truly amazing people we have met over the years the chatroom has been active. I have met great people here I never would've met without this site. I truly hope I can see all of them again one day, maybe on another chatroom, maybe somewhere unexpected.

For many of us the onio.club chatroom was a place we could relax, decompress, and talk with friends or strangers online about a variety of topics, sure sometimes it wasn't so relaxing and we got into the occasional argument, but I think most of us had an overwhelmingly positive experience with this little slice of the internet.

Thanks to the moderators for always working to keep us shielded from the weirdos on the internet and banning those being rowdy and breaking rules.

Thanks to all the amazing members who made this chatroom, at least for me, my favourite place on the whole wide web.

Thanks to Onio, for making it a thing in the first place, bringing us all together.

Yeah, I really had fun there. I found myself getting away from social media more, and even found inspiration for more stories. It's been good all around.
