The Value of Nature Journaling

Even though I'm already known to have a pretty profound interest in nature, I just thought I'd share that anybody can take up nature journaling as a way to deepen thoughts on other forms of life, while practicing artistic skill. It's a good alternative to traditional journaling if you want to geek out a little without a screen.
Through the craft, which consists of putting words, pictures and numbers in a blank book or just on a drawing pad, I have trained my watercolor skill from zero to a point I am pretty happy with. I'm still a beginner, but I am much better than I was.
And from the perpective of being out in nature (watch out for ticks when sitting in the woods if your region has them, I use a dollar store 3-legged chair
), since starting nature journaling, my interest for inquiry has deepened even more, and it magnifies even more my interest in nature every time I go out.
